More than 6,500 employment specialists have received training from WorkNet in the last two years. Our seminars have become favorites among employment specialist across the U.S. and Australia. Each of WorkNet's Trainers has successfully worked in the trenches with people who have barriers to employment. They are now passing-on their "tried and true methods" for motivating candidates, overcoming employment barriers, marketing candidates to employers and helping candidates become employees the boss wants to promote.
Our most popular seminars are one- to three-day seminars conducted with groups of no more than 60 employment specialists. Whenever possible and appropriate, our two- and three-day seminars involve actual job seekers to allow participants to better apply the new information and techniques. Throughout the year, we also present shorter 75 to 120-minute sessions at conferences.
WorkNet also offers intensive one-, two- or three-week Trainer's Institutes which are limited to 12 employment specialists and 13 job candidates. Each employment specialist is matched to a candidate, so they can apply each new technique as it is taught. This intensive training environment ensures that staff return with new skills they can immediately use and passion.
